States and abroad that have on exhibit and/or in their storerooms important
works of Palissy and related ware as of our last visit. From time to
time, museums change their visitation hours, so it is a good idea to

This is the museum of Cambridge College which contains a large collection
of historical ceramics including two or three 16th-century and 19th-century
examples of Palissy ware. Not worth a special trip unless you are visiting
the college.

A few excellent examples of 16th-century pieces on the second floor in
the Renaissance section. Worth a visit just to see the new dome. Its Egyptian
display is second only to the Cairo Museum.

Contains a wonderful collection of 16th-century French Palissy ware, about
twenty pieces. Located in The Smoking Room on the ground floor. Worth
a special visit! The entire decorative arts collection is superb.

This is the finest decorative arts museum in the world. About sixty examples
of 16th-century French Palissy ware, five examples of St.-Porchaire ware,
and three excellent examples of 19th-century French Palissy ware. Located
in galleries 8 and 21 on the ground level, and gallery 128 on level C.
Worth a special visit!
